it read it up to 50 percent and stops i tried x-copy and shrink

Try AnyDVD 21 day trial here:

Once AnyDVD is installed it sits in your system tray running in the background. Any encrypted DVD will now appear to be unencrypted. You should be able to open your movie in Shrink and proceed as usual.

AnyDVD is worth a try, but This movie should rip with Decrypter just fine. Did you try cleaning the disk really good and give it another shot also try in File Mode if you arent already doing that. If you still have problem you could try DVDFab Decrypter I was actually able to rip a pretty beat up disk with that when Decrypter wouldnt rip it. I know I was pretty surprised myself infact I'm starting to lean more towards DVDFab Decrypter now (as far as ripping goes)
