Hello

i have a 10GB MPEG file that i wanna put on a dvd, i was just wondering what programs or anything i need to shrink it so i can get it on a dvd? and also what programs to convert it.

If your wanting to play this mpeg in a standard DVD player then it will need converted. You can use DivXtoDVD for that. However this file being so big it is going to be hard to get it to fit on one DVD because once converted it will most certainly be even bigger yet. So you will probably need to put it on 2 or 3 DVD's. You can do that with DVD Shrink. There are a couple of guides at my website that could help you out with both. First you want to use this one to convert your mpeg http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/DivXtoDVD.pdf Just go to step 8 and then use this guide http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/1for1%20copy%20w%20shrink&decrypt... just skip down to step 20 as you will already have the movie on your hard drive :-) You can get all the software needed for this at my site also. :-)
