Hey forum....i dunno if this is the right place to ask this question...anyways...i bought my playstation refurbished and when i tried to play dvd's, i keep getting that parental advisory password screen...unfortunately, i dont know the password an so does the store that i bought it off...can somebody tell me if there is a way to reset the password or figure out the password...i would highly appreciate it.

i get that on some of my dvd's and all i do is hit X until it goes away. i think that is the password you put in if it is a dvd you don't want someone else to watch. (parental control)

enter 7444 and that should do the trick. it is the universal code to delete the password. Then go to http://www.us.playstation.com/hardwaremanuals.aspx
and read the manula for your version on how to set up a new password or disable it.
