When softmodded my xbox and i try to go my dashboard with out game in it the screen cause to error 16 can someone help

you should try ZXBinstaller, it's way so easy to install, it's in spanish tho, but does the job well if you just softmod using linux patch.

error 16 is a harddrive issue. ur either going to need to hotswap or get a modchip. those r ur 2 options. if no ill buy that xbox off u for like 20 bux.

I guess you can switch the dashboard (call it Evox, Linux or whatever Dashboard you choose) Language, but the installer is in spanish. I downloaded it using eMule. Hotswap and all that stuff seems to hard for some people, including me; I'd rather use the splinter Cell Savegame trick that comes with ZXBinstaller and don't even need to open My xbox. It's way to easy, so, give it a try.

ok i get the tutrial u gave to me woofis and i get everthing but when i poweroff the computer and count to 5 the big x comes up and white letters mircosoft and it freezes there. i swicth the fonts too and clean my harddrive but it did the samething as 71 did when u swtich to 61 so can u tell me y is it doing this or did i do somthing wrong?
