Can someone tell me if I need to mod my dreamcast to play games that I want to download. I have a bittorrent file of a game and also would like some instruction on how to burn it. i have searched the site and have had no luck finding answers. any help would be greatly appreciated!

no i have a boot disk and i just put it in the dreamcast and that it will tell you to put in the game and it will just load it from there. well some games you download wont need a boot disk all you do is put the game in.

Maybe some one can help me, Iv downloaded the utopia boot disk several different times and tried burning the image with Nero and It always works. but when I open the disk there is nothing but 3 different notpads with written text on it. When i pu it in the Dreamcast it doesent reconize it. Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong and how can I correct it. I been trying to play my copied version of Marvel vs Capcom for a while now. Thanks

I've been meaning to read this post for a while, just never got to it
I found this at megagames.com and i remember my friend using this for his dreamcast and also for his Marvel vs Capcom 2 backup.

There are many versions of utopia up so you shouldn't have a problem finding a working one. Where did you get your backup anyways?

Thanks for the link, Iv downloaded a couple from there to with the same results. I even found my old boot disk but when I use that i get the same results. I dont think its my Dreamcast because its playing all the orginal games even the self booting backups. I dont know whats going wrong, I been dying to play Marvel vs. Capcom for a while now. Anyone have any suggestions?
