i need to no how do i fix my softmodded xbox cause i softmodded and everything was goin find. Then i deleted everthin off my cdrive can someone tell how do u wat do i need to do to get my xbox back and runnin. (hotswappin i wont do!!!!!)

Error 16 - Dashboard - Other files to do with dashboard / dashboard settings (specific dashboard error)

Well, you've deleted your Dashboard files...if you can't FTP the files you deleted back into your xbox then you may want to look at remodding it.

Error 16: RTC Error IIRC. You still should be able to load noraml XBOX Games as loading a Game DVD overrides the loading of the M$Dash. So if this is a 007AUF Softmod you could / should still be able to get FTP access the normal way.

I think once you have actually gained Evox / FTP Controll you can use any XBOX Live! Game to update your M$ Dashboard allowing you to reset the Time and Date back to there defaults. With the Dashupdate.xbe File
or something close to it...

all you need is slayers evox autoinstaller 2.6
this will re-install your dashboard
u dont need to remod your xbox!

Alright... I've got a really crappy Thompson DVD drive... kind of a newb when it comes to technical words but when it comes to the process of doing the stuff, I can handle that. My friend sold me his xbox for 30 bucks because his dog pissed on it... he had a samsung drive in his.. I wanted it really bad. So I took them apart, switched the drives,Mine to the samsung.. and now I'm getting an error message without a #. I put my Thomson drive in his, and getting error message 16...okay I've read what 16 is and I dont understand why switching the drives could cause this... I switched again and put the origional ones in each box and I'm still getting the same error......can anyone help??? Thanks
