If you are doing it to a dual layer disc just use DVD Decrypter and it will work the same as a single layer
One note, if you do not have a mod chip (DMS4 Pro, DMS4 Lite or Matrix Infinity) you will not be able to play a dual layer back up. Swap Magic can not do it, and other chips that are jusr DVD9 Ready can not do it without patching the games ISO file with
Toxic DL Patcher, which you can get at.
http://www.backuptools.co.uk/ there is also a tool here that will shrink GT4 to fit on a regular 4.7GB (DVD5 ) disc. Not sure what it will cut out.
I am trying to backup Madden 2005 CE with Decrypter.
I have an Infinity with v1.54 firmware and all I get is a screen that says cannot read disc. GT4 on DL works fine. Any help would be appreciated.
If you haven't patched Madden 2005 CE with toxic patcher (i.e. you've done a 1:1 back up) then you need to enable the Matrix Infinity's DL support function (i.e. the Matrix DL support function acts like toxic patcher, that is, it applies a patch to the game). I think there is a text document attached to the v1.54 firmware download which tells you how to enable DL support on the Matrix Infinity.
Yes I do have DL support enabled, the only other DL game I have is GT4 and it works fine. Maybe Matrix needs another update? Does anyone else with the infinity have the same problem?
