I came across a Gameshark V 5.3, I tried using this as a boot disc for my PS2, but I am lost as to when to use the slide tool. Can anyone give me some assistance?

Im not sure if GameShark works but if it does,
If u have an PS2 (bulky) you need to unscrew the screw underneth the cd tray and take off the front panel of the cd tray.
(im not sure how the software for GS is so bare with me)

Load up GS
insert the slide tool into the gap of the ps2's cd tray. Slide from the left to the right and pull out the tray.
select w/out codes

and play i presume.

Hope it helps

See the broadband version constantly asks you for the game disk and auto ejects, then will ask for the gameshark disc again, then auto eject, then ask for the game again. From where I see it there is no way to trick it. It never stops spinning a disc where I could use my slide tool.

Oh well, Swap Magic has been ordered and is on it's way...I guess I will tack this one up as a $30 failed experiment. But I guess I got a gameshark out of the deal.
