XBOX HARDWARE IN PS2?

well i had a broken xbox so i decided to open it up before i trashed it and i took out the hard drive. i tried to use hdloader to format it but it couldnt. so tehn i tried to use dms hdd manager and it successfully formated it but then it says it failed to load the filesystem list. Is there anyway i can get this hdd working on the ps2? the hdd is a seagate st310211a

Well although this is not an xbox forum. I might be ablke to help a bit. FIrst thing you need do is take that hdd to someone with a modded xbox. Have them use Slayers auto loader to UNLOCK it. Then once unlocked you need to search around on some xbox mod sights for a program that will reformat it. Perhaps the progam you allready have might be able to do it on your pc. Hope this helps.
