Ar Max = Action Replay Max = a cheat code system that can be updated through your ps2's online capability's , and allows you to download game saves. It also enables you to watch dvd's that aren't from your ps2's region (with the help of an RGB cable). an Ar Max disk would be the cd (or dvd, not sure) that comes with the Ar Max package.
