hi, i have a slim ps2 with the flip top design, and just found out about mod chips, and swap magic boot discs.
all i want to do is play imports, not back ups really, and was wondering which option is better, using mod chips, or swap magic (or any other boot discs) with the slim tool?

Swap Magic will work most of the time but it wont work with DVD9 games so that were a modchip comes in handy.

Samurai champloo rocks :) not too sure what modchips are the best but if you give the search function a go you may find something useful :)

agree with above, DMS4 Pro
and a mod chip is better, just a bit more $$$
and get a laser fix installed while your at it.
Summone or Comsoft V4 laser fix.
