Yes, but beware you may lose some video quality during compression.

What do you mean it can fit on the disc? I have copied all four seasons of the sopranos with no problem.

I'm going by the message it gave me

It said there is not enough space on the disc

I'm trying to burn season 4 disc 1

Its like 2 hr and 48min


Can u give me some advise on the setting sshrik should be on

Have you used DVD Decrypter to burn to your hard drive? If so open the file where you saved season 4 disc 1, & shrink will analyze it, and come up with the compression ratio needed for a full disc backup.
Simply click on backup, and after asking where to store the temporary file, shrink will take care of the rest.

I have backed up the sopranos and have split to two disks. I used CloneDVD2 and it allows you to preserve the menus on both disks unlike Shrink. You can dl the 21 day trial version at http://www.slysoft.com. There is a guide available to show you the process

As stated rip your disk to your hard drive using Decrypter and then use Shrink. Here is a guide that explains the process and settings
