Hey, Im new to the forum and i have a big problem. Here is the situation. I have a mad dog DVD burner(external), and a regular Cd recording built in. I try to do the whole DVD shrink, and then burn ISO in DVD decryptor, but when it goes to the DVD decryptor part, i have to switch the Real DVD with the blank to record onto, and it gives all types of error messages. Is anyone in the same boat as me? ALL ADVICE IS WELCOMED, THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!

I think ur using the programs in the wrong order.
here is what u have to do if u want to ripp the entire disc to ur blank DVD.

1) Use DVD Decrypter to ripp to a folder on you hard drive.

2) Use DVD Shrink to compress the ripped copy off the hard drive and put it into a sub folder.

3) Then use DVD Decrypter in burner format and ripp the compressed version to disc.

here is a guide that can help u out also

I hope that helps

What are the error messages you receive? Can you post the log - that would be helpful. Are you using the mad dog to read and write? You should be able to use shrink to copy an iso and burn the iso with decrypter. Oh and what brand of blanks are you using?

What is the brand name/speed rate/and format of blank discs?
How fast are you trying to burn these?

Thanks for all the support. I am using a Mad dog burner, for both reading and for burning. I also am doing 4x burn speed, and using the Sony DVD-R 4.7 GB discs. Anymore support would be helpful.

Thanks

What speed rating are these, 1x-4x/4x/or 1x-8x? There's a whole lot of quality difference between those different speeds.

Also need that error report. It sounds more like burn errors.
