I didn't have a problem with this movie. Used AnyDVD running in background and CloneDVD 2. DVD Decrypter should work fine but since you're having a problem, try downloading AnyDVD. It's free for 21days then you have to buy or you can't use it. You could also dnld DVD43 it's free period. It works very well though it's not updated as often as AnyDVD. Try one of those and then the routine you did before and you should be fine. It's been my experience that sometimes DVD Decrypter needs just a little help, but mostly on it's own is enough.

-Try ripping the movie with DVDFab Decrypter.
It worked for me.

The last version of decrypter should handle this movie. It does have the Sony ARccOS protection so Shrink can't do it alone. You may have a bad press. You can try the above suggestions but imho if decrypter can't do it - they probably can't either. I would exchange it for another copy.

binkie7 is right IMO too if Decrypter can't do it probably the others won't be able to either. What kind of errors are you getting?

I've just copied this with DVD Decrypter. Using previous advice from good ole' Scuba Pete as follows-
Go to "Tools", "Settings", set everything to "Default". Then in the "General" tab change, "Removal Method" from "Normal" to "Aggressive", in "File Mode", "tick" Remove IFO/BUP PUO's." For ripping in the "ISO, Read Mode", "tick" "Remove IFO/BUP PUO's" there also. in the "CSS" tab, under "CSS Cracking Method", choose "Brute Force ~> I/O Key Exchange" and "On Failure" choose "Yes". . IMPORTANT: In the "I / O" tab, in the bottom right, "tick" the box which says, "Ignore read errors". This is an excellent setting for dealing with lightly scratched discs which may cause ripping problems.
I got a lot of warnings, etc., but it worked!

I using, 3.5.4.0 decryptor, DVD Shrink, dvd20ne, dvdxplatinum, SmartRipper, AnyDVD, clone dvd2, I cant get any to work, I spent at least 2 1/2 hours trying multiple programs and researching this site.
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/194755 I look at the dvd and it looks fine with just the casual minor scratches, mostly it locks on 54% with couple programs, data reluctancy check on like 2 programs.

There is more than likely something wrong with this disk, take it back and get another original. CRC errors are 99% disk related.

Burtss,
If you get read errors at the same spot w/ 2 different programs then do what arnie bear said to do and take it back for exchange. It is a bad press

I think it was a bad dvd because when I played the dvd it would have a hard time playing right about at the spot where I was having the errors.
