I've read the previous thread about backing up Ratchet and Clank I did not get any answers.
I've tried backing up Ratchet and Clank 3 with Nero Express 6, and when it got to 99% complete it said 'Burn Process Failed". I then tried DVD Shrink 3.2 and it said that it couldn't find dvd structure or something like that.
I then tried DVD Decrypter (version 3.5.4.0) and when it got to about 91% complete there was a box which appeared saying:
I/0 Error
Uncorrectable error.
As well as a heap of numbers and stuff.
This exact thing happened with Onimusha 3. I don't think that anything is wrong with my DVD Burner because we have backed up many movies recently.
I need help ASAP. Thanks

Is the disc significantly scratched or something like that even if a scratch looks small doesn't mean its not dangerous. If you think it could be a program issue you could try using Padus Discjuggler I've used it for some time now its fairly reliable. If all else fails you could go Bruce Lee on it.
!!!!DRAGOn KICK!!!
Not very helpful^^

I suggest you get your hands on Padus Discjuggler, if only to get the image of the game. Sometimes it takes more than one program to get it right. Try discjuggler to get it and whatever you want to burn, demo discjuggler can only burn 700 MB.

Are there any good FREE programs I can download?
I've tried everything, including Alcohol 120%, nothing works.

not really,DVD Decrypter is very popular when it comes to burning iso's
normally burn failures are caused by crappy media/fast burn speeds, but he is yet to reply,so we wont know until he does

I don't believe that too high a speed or crappy medium would result in an erro in the system though, just a crappy burn job that wouldn't work in his Ps2. He needs to re-rip the information from the disc with a program and at a low speed and try burning it again. That is my only advice. as for medium unless you are using a generic brand i wouldn't worry about it, I've heard that memorex is so-so when it comes to burning but I've burnt many games and all have turned out fine.

Yeh I just backed up Ratchet and Clank 3. I created an iso image using Decrypter and then burnt it using Nero.
Thanks for your help guys.

Well that's good advice but i think I'd prefer not to. It's not just hursty i won't listen so no offense to him, but i won't listen to much anyone unless their input is what i believe to be valid. And its not very cool to pop onto a thread to tell someone they should listen to someone else. By the way I'm glad that Ranma got his problem solved may he swim in the piles of backups he makes.

may sound too far fetched but lately i've used rubbing alcohol and cotton balls to clean dirty scratches on discs with success! at least try it.
