Hi, starting to pull my hair out. I've been creating clips on my PC and emailing them to my phone. They don't sound too good. The clip I send is anywhere from 32 to 48 kbps, when I check the details of the file on the phone it says 8 kbps!! It has done this several times. I have tried Nero Wave Editor, Audacity with RazorLame, read guides 'til I'm blind. Whassup???

I've been creating a 19 second MP3 file clipped from an 8 minute downloaded MP3, changed to mono, changed to 32 kbps. Emailed with Outlook Express in text mode. I'm following all the rules that I can see.

Perhaps because Musicmatch claims these files when I make them?

Why is my phone changing the bit rate? Please, any ideas are appreciated.
