Is there such a thing as dual-layer *RW* media?

Thanks.

Yes. You can purchase them most any where. Try http://www.Shop4Tech.com or http://www.Rima.com or Taiyo Yuden, Ritek, Ridata, Sony, TDK, Memorex, Imation to name a few. Happy burning!

Just to clarify, I'm looking for...

- DVD
- Dual-Layer (8+ GB)
- *RW* (re-writable)

... media.

I appreciate the effort, but neither of the sites linked above seem to have what I'm looking for (unless my searching skills just totally suck, which is quite possible).

I do appreciate the links, though. Some good prices there. :-)

Again, I'd like to buy some media of that type. So far I have not been able to find any. The links provided by Yobuzzb did not have any media of that type (both RW and dual layer).

why would a console use a rewritable media? the discs are pressed and therefore, not rewritable!

pangloss, i highly doubt what you're looking for exists. i heard months back that it was decided such a media was not necessary, as burnable dual layer discs are only a transition to blu-ray media. sorry, bud.

Oh! Well darn, ok, I guess that makes sense. I wanted to set up a rotating set of media for backup purposes, but I guess it's back to Ye Olde Tape Drives for these guys. (hehe)

Oh well, thanks for the info. :-)
