I've extracted both parts of God of War, Part1.PAK and Part2.PAK using Apache 2 and it's in my documents. I've opened up the God of War tool and tried to extract the GODOFWAR.ISO file (that I burnt using DVD Decrypter), and it wouldn't work, an error message appeared and it asked me to send an error report.
I then tried to extract (using the GOW tool) Part1.PAK and it didnt work, same error message, I then tried Part2.PAK and again, same error message.

What file of God of War am I supposed to extract using the GOW tool? Or have I done anything incorrectly? Please elaborate.

And also, I have one other small GOW .MDS file (8KB) that appeared when I burnt GOW using DVD Decrypter along with the 7.8 GB .ISO File, what is that used for?

have you used this guide as i did and it works fine

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/174869

have you used dvd dycrpter like this

Make a folder for you game called gow

- DVD decrypter

with original game in drive

open DVD dycrypter

click on mode then iso then read

click on browse to destination where you want to put the iso

click on the decrypt button

wait for a while for it to complete

and apache2 like this

- apache2

open apache2

click on file open file to get your iso

browse to where you made your folder with iso in it

click on it

You will see a list of files

Right click on the DVD icon and click extract all

a browser will pop up browse to where you made your folder and click ok

it will then extract your disk

when that has finished

right click on the DVD icon again and click on change layer

then right click on the DVD icon again and click extract all again to extract the second layer

browse to your folder again and click ok

this will put all files in same place

if so you should have got these files in your folder

the scus file may be differnt to this as you might be in the uk

You get Apache 2 from here:

www.backuptools.co.uk

Go to 'Downloads' and click on 'General Console Tools', it should be the first on the list.

Ranma.

P.S- Thanks for the help johnim
