I recently ordered the 100 4x of Tayo's from supermediastore...

http://www.supermediastore.com/taiyo-yuden-4x-dvd-r-media-silver-...

Can someone please recommend me a good brand of printable media near the price I paid for the ones above(I realise it'll be more expensive, but I really dont want to spend over 50 for 100 discs). 4x is fine as I wont be going any higher than that.

I was going to just use a Sharpe and write what movie is on there but decided to take the plunge and get a r200 and do some fancy dvd covers.

I'll be using the following burner if that'll make any difference

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827152047

Also anyone have experience with these glossy papers?

thanks

I also just made the switch from TY silver thermal to inkjet printables after purchasing my R200. I use this media now:

http://www.rima.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=...

I was getting all of my media fron Supermediastore, but Rima is just as reputable, the prices are nearly identical or sometimes better, and the shipping is ALWAYS cheaper than Supermediastore...

I'm not well-versed on Ritek, BUT, I have seen several threads saying that this brand was inconsistent in terms of quality.

Not a really good choice on the Riteks bodine123.. You may have good luck with them however there are a lot of people having problems with those. May I suggest these
http://www.supermediastore.com/prodisc-8x-dvd-r-white-inkjet-47gb...
those are Prodisc with a manufacture ID code of MCC (same as Verbatim) the price is really good 33$ per 100 and you get the free Epson R200/300 inkjet cartridges to boot. :-) Those a very good disks I have used 150 so far without one coaster and I am usually a strictly TY guy, but I tried 25 of these just to see how they worked and was very pleased to see them manufactured by MCC (Mitsubushi Chemical Corp) So I ordered 200 more right away ;-)

Cheers
