Does Qoob SX rip games?

I'm a little confused...is the qoob sx able to stream games to the computer or is that a feature available only in the qoob pro chip?

I have a Qoob SX and I am able to do that. I believe the Qoob SX and Qoob Pro work the same way when it comes to backing up your games from your gamecube to your PC.

i mean to be able to stream the games without using the pso method...and only using the bba adapter..and if that's the case then is there another difference between the pro and the sx besides the mp3 player the backgrounds and the bigger memory capacity?

I guess I am a little confused of what you are trying to do. Are you trying to play the games from your PC to your gamecube, by streaming the games from the PC? If so, I don't know too much about that unfortunately. I just got the Qoob SX because all I do is make backups of my games using the BBA connected to my computer, then burn them to a DVD-R disc to play them directly in the disc drive of the Gamecube itself. Someone else might be able to help when it comes to the streaming games from PC part of it if that is what you need help with.

sorry for confusing you man..i meant to write rip and i accidently wrote stream..what i wanted to know is if i can make backups of the original games with qoob sx and the bba...and as you said i can...so thanks and again sorry for confusing you...

Guys, I also have a Qoob chip, just got it, I'm a complete newbie too though.

I know I need the BBA, I have the mod chip, will I also need Phantasy Star online to back up my games now?

After I have done that, will I be able to just burn my games on mini-dvds. That would seem to be too good to be true!

if you know a link that explains the whole process well, please post it here, it would help me a lot.
