Restoring HDLoader to memory card

Hello all,

First off, I'm a noob. I recently had my PS2 hooked up with HDLoader (booting from PS2Menu on the memory card) using the PS1 game exploit.

However, I mistakenly deleted the system configuration file on the memory card (approx. 1.1MB) and I could no longer boot my games from the HDD.

My questions: I've snooped around on the web for about two weeks now, and I've downloaded HDLoader.ELF (along with PS2Menu, and several other files), but I have NO IDEA on where to start by putting all of this back on my memory card. Do I use a boot disc to swap, and then an image disc with PS2Menu and HDloader on it or is there another way? My PS2 is unmodded, and I have no game enhancers...

Second, if I do get help here, will my HDLoader games (which are still on the HDD) still be playable, or do I have to reload them again?

Yeah, I know it sounds silly to erase such a good setup, but I got to cleaning up files and went too far; not knowing that half the exploit was on my memory card and not the HDD.

Please Help!!!
