does anyone have like a step by step guide to use a slide card or to install a fliptop or just pictures of how to do it? thanks

but i doubt they post instructions for flip top installs
It is just a few screws, swapping the eject/power button
and removing the DVD tray cover. Very simple stuff

as for using a slide card

but i would go with the flip top. You can get them in many
color for $25 USD

You can do a google on flip top installation tutorial and see what it throws up.

Check this site out as it covers new slim line PS2 and older models.
