Trouble with Tekken 5 USA SOLOPS2

Hi im having trouble loading Tekken 5 USA version SOLOPS2 on my ps2 because it keeps freezing at the Namco logo. I try copying it with dvd decrypter and Nero at 1x but it keeps going to 2.4x. I use swap magic 3.6 and the slide tool and i use "Intenso DVD+R" discs. All my other games work fine apart from tekken 5.

can sum1 help me plzz ????

I copied Tekken 5 and it worked fine.

There is a fix on swapmagicfix.com for Tekken 5.

You might wanna check that out.

And I have never heard of intenso discs before, try Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim or Ritek....

yea, sk0ts right. try using a different brand of dvd's. tekken 5 was the first game i backed up, and it didn't work. just try some other brand and it should work fine.

everytime i try to copy at 1X speed.... it automatically goes to 2.4x speed......is this normal ? i use DVD Decrypter and Nero.

What speed are your disks? If they're 2.4 and not varialbe speed, you won't be able to burn at anything but that speed. Also, if they're higher than 2.4, they may not be able to go down to 1x. One more thing, I would check your settings in Nero, something may be amiss there as well. Good Luck!
