Using Swap Magic 3.6!!!

Hi, Can anyone help. I am living in Canada with a UK (Pal) PS2 and some original games on this same format. I bought swap magic 3.6 in order to use my console and games on an NTSC TV but am having trouble getting it to work.

Can I use Swap Magic 3.6 to allow me to play original pal games on an NTSC TV or will it only work with copies?

Any help would be appreciated.

It should work. Have you tried booting the game under
different screen modes with swap magic?
You can set screen modes on the main screen
It has normal as the default
but can be changed to NTSC or PAL
If neither of those work you may need something else
if your TV will not support both.

Hi,

I insert the swapmagic disc & switch on the console, it boots up with a scrambled screen which I can see says Load Program and underneath video mode. I change video mode to NTSC to match the TV the menu screen reverts reformats and looks perfect on the NTSC TV. However, when I then remove the swapmagic disc and insert the original game disc the screen just says no data on disc!!!
