hi, hope that someone can help out....basically i want to create a library for my music dvd's on my hard drive. the idea is that i wish to make playlists ( like in windows media ) and need to be able to break down each dvd into the various chapters/titles ie/ presumably 20 different songs = 20 chapters + a few xtra for intro etc etc. the aim is to be able to listen/wathc a mixture of music without subjecting freinds to 90 minutes of the same group/band.
so; i would like to knwo how to go about doing the ripping, whether this leads to a change in the quality of the audio side of things ( which is important for me ) an dalso whether anyone by chance has experience of using any software to then create the actual playlists???? been going round in cricles an dhope that some has some ideas.....thx mark

It depends output format, of course, by setting some options a change in the quality could be reduced.
