MY PS2 BACKUPS BURN PERFECT, BUT HAVE A FLASH SCREEN!!!!!!

Hello, i backup ps2 games frequently, when i built my new pc system, (keeping the same burner) and (the same media: ridata ritek) i have noticed that every single backup i have made has burned well but has a flashy screen sort of like lines going continually up and down the screen. This has been so for every single backup. Including god of war, tekken 5, and medal of honor: assualt. I have even tried to backup my backups, such as using the god of war backup to my hard drive and then using dvd decrypter to burn it to disk. The original backup worked while the new backup had the same problem i can see the background but the lines and flashy screen is continual, i used to have no problem backing it up. My burner is Khypermedia and media is ridata ritek. I think it may be my burner. WHO KNOWES PLZ SOMEONE HELP OUT.!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure how to help you here m8, but did you rebuild God of War using SoniX tool? If not it wont work... as the original is a DVD9, and Swap Magic cant play DVD9's. It plays DVD5's fine, and Sonix's tool will rip it to a DVD5.

This is a problem with the machine not the media. this happened with my ps1. If it gets banged about this can occur it will run originals fine but copies get like scrolling lines across the screen. It probably has something to do with the chip being faulty, get it checked or try the games on another chipped ps2. If its not that then i dont know sorry.

thxfor replying, no the thing is i did a backup of a backup, i the god of war backup backup to use on the ps2, while the original backup worked fine, the second backup, most recently didnt work well, it had flashy screens. the god of war first backup was done on my old computer while the new one was done on my new computer. Could this be the problem.

Have you got the original God of War game disk just now? You could try making the ISO off of that using DVD Decrypter, then burning it?
From the ORIGINAL disk?

COULD IT BE THAT MY DVD BURNER BUFFERS? I DONT SEE THIS AS A REASON BECAUSE I USED THE SAME BURNER LAST TIME AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY.

Hmm, no it wouldnt be that, because mine does buffers too. But I havent actually backed up this game.
