I have copied a lot of games, and DVD Decrypter has proven to be the best for me!

DVD Decrypter and Alcohol 120% are the two best programs for it.

I tried using DVD Decrypter and I get the message on the bottom "Disc not DVD" and does not allow me to read it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the back of your game box. If the game is CD based, DVD Decrypter will not be able to read it. I personally use Alcohol 120% for any CD games.

Hello Jin66,

I tried backing up one of my games "AceCombat4" using DVD Decrypter. I was able to create and burn the copy to completion but it still won't play and gives "No Data" and "non ps2 format". Any idea's??

Ok, what media are you using and what speed are you burning to?

Are you using Swap Magic or a Modchip?

I am using "Imation" DVD-R (8X)media. My burner is dual layer X16. I didn't make any changes to the Decryter setting and simply followed your directions that I downloaded from your site.
My ps2 (SCPH-30001)is not moded. I did check the swapmagic site and did not see this particular game listed. Do I need to download CD Loader stuff??.

you say your PS2 is not modded.
does that mean that you are not using Swap Magic?
with a flip top or slidecard?
Without a boot disc or mod chip you can not play
back up games.

No, I am not using swap magic or any other hardware at this time. I am a newbie and am not sure what is all I need to be able to play the back up game.

well , there you have it.
Without modding your PS2 you can't play back up games
There are several ways you can go with this

Swap Magic discs (3.6) and a flip top
this can be used for either the new slim or older chunky models

Swap Magic and a slidecard- older models only!

Swap Magic and slimtool,magic switch, or Ghost switch
for the slim only


or get a good mod chip installed
(DMS4 Pro, Matrix Infinity)
Or the solderless DMS4 EZI if you have an older model (not slim)

do some research or ask around to see which way you may

i have tried to burn ps2 games off that i have downloaded, using Nero, DVD Decrypter and Alcohol 120 yet whenever i try to play it the games dont work this has only started happening with the last few games i have downloaded so i was just wondering anyone knew what i am doing wrong
