It seems to me that I can copied a game but cant get it to play on a ps2...I am using the dvd decrypter and copied it that way, I put in to a ps2 slim and nothen

a modification. lose the caps. now.
so, you're not using SwapMagic or a modchip? that's why you can't play games. do a search.

did you do a search? the mod is for your ps2 only. a modchip lets you play copied games. most need to be soldered in, some don't. swap magic can go from unit to unit and let you play copied games, as well. they are simply boot discs you put in first, then swap for the copies. search harder and you'll have all your answers.

noob!...for the ps2 or n e other system, you need some kind of a mod to play backup/copied games...for the ps2 you need Swap-Magic Disc or a modchip..i recommend Modchips...im using a DMS4 Lite in my PS2 V12 and im not sure but i might have some kind of a fix for the laser...so if you have a v12...u should get a modchip and a fix.
