unfortunately, the only way to find out is by opening it up. With the fix, it makes no different on the screen because it's just a bunch of voltage regulator and fuses to keep your laser from burning up.

you should just ask the guy who did it.
$125 isn't too great a price.
Places i have seen do just the install of
a chip you have for $50 and the chip is around $50
Don't know how they got $150 from that.
Did they pay shipping?
laser fixes are about $10 at most.

go figure
That is because it is illegal to have back ups
if you do not have the original, and even then
you are only allowed one copy.
Well you are just stuck then unless you
want to open it up and find out. and even then you may
not know what your looking at.
what i tell everyone is this:
never let someone mod your PSTwo if you don't know what
chip they are putting into it.

well if it is a DMS4 Pro or Lite then it is one of the
best.
but if you own the original why did you buy back ups
rather than making your own?
No DVD Burner?
If you have ToxicBIOS 1.3 like your sig says then it
is a DMS4 Lite
The DMS4 Pro would have ToxicOS V0.3
but like i said, without opening it there is no way to
tell if there is a laser fix installed.
