OK I JUST GOT MY PS2 V12 SLIMLINE MODDED!!! BUT I GOT A PROBLEM...MY GAME DOESNT WANT TO SPIN...I PUT THE Neofix SO THAT MY LASER WONT BURN! BUT I DONT KNOW WHY MY THING DOESNT SPIN AT ALL!! ANY SUGGESTIONS WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN??? IF U GUYS CAN HELP ME I WILL APRECIATE THAT! THANKS GUYS!!

did some 1 mod it 4 u and u put in the neo fix?
try taking out the neo fix to see if it works
good luck if it works get some to put in the neofix 4 u

Well for a slimline to spin, you have to have them switches pressed down, one where the light is, and one in the back.

so many things could have went wrong if you
did the install yourself.
Could be that the DVD Drive ribbon is loose or out.
Could be the buttons listed above.
Could be bridged solder points

Have you checked if you have droped any screws and they are attached to the head.

bytheway my chip is dms 4 pro with neofix so i dont burn the laser....but i really dont know what went wrong...hope u guys help me out!! im gonna do everythin u guys told me..thanks i apreciate it!

just a stupid question now that i know it is a
DMS4 chip.
when you turn on the PS2 and you see the Playstation
logo come up, does it say Toxic under it?
it should if the ToxicOS was installed, which you will need.
If not go here and download it and follow the instructions
for burning it to a CD, then play it in your PS2. It is
in the third party flash section and the newest version
is ToxicOS V0.3

most people said to flash your chip. Try that. secondly, make sure your ribbon is plugged tightly.
