i need to know if i still have to run a network cable from my ps2 to my computer if im using a linksys router....my pc and my ps2 are at complete different ends of the house ..i cant get it to connect...

you can run you PS2 on a wireless internet system
they sell them at most electronic stores.
It should work like any other system, like another
computer hooked up and shring that internet connection.

ive got my linksys wireless router or game network adapter or whatever you wanna call it...i was wondering if i need anything else...or if i can just plug the router up to the usb port on the ps2 and play away....ive got the router plugged in but it still says no link was found...the lights on the router are on...so what do i do..am i doing something wrong

not sure, as i do not have one.
Pull out the directions that came with it and see what
they say. If you do not have them go to the Linksys
web site and i am sure they will have a PDF file you can
download with them. As most companies do.
the systems i have seen are wireless
you hook an adapter into your broadband slot on the PSTwo
and then it will transmit through the router.

To play online games you have to have the ps2 hooked up through the network adapter. The usb port will not get you online unfortunately, its just there for keyboards/mics and other accessories
