Is there any sort of application designed to launch from a USB flash drive (besides PGEN by Action Replay Max for EVO Drive) that will allow me to launch different applications??? My PS2 is unmodded, but the Action Replay Max (which I have) has the ability to launch PGEN from my flash drive and also load and play roms from it. I have also launched SNES Station from my usb device by renaming it AUTOEXEC.ELF, however it lacks USB support and therefore won't let me load roms from my flash drive. I'd like to use PS2 Reality Media Player because it has features (namely a JPEG viewer) which are lacking in ARMAX's media player. Is there any application I can launch from my flash drive that will allow me to launch other applications??? Launch.elf claims to support usb devices but will not load from one, at least not that I've been able to accomplish. Please help me!!!
Which version of the PS2 Reality Media Player did you get to work from the usb??? Can you provide a link?? The version I downloaded would not launch from my usb device.
Loading your own programs from USB Mass Storage Devices:
1. Rename your program to SWAPMAGIC.ELF
2. Create a folder named SWAPMAGIC in the root directory of your USB Mass Storage
Devices and then put the SWAPMAGIC.ELF file in the folder.
3. Plug-in the USB Mass Storage Device to the USB port of the PS2. And then boot your PS2
with SwapMagic3.6. If the program (SWAPMAGIC.ELF) is found in "../SWAPMAGIC/", it
will be launched automatically.
Store multiple programs in the USB Mass Storage Devices:
1. You can put maximum 4 files in the SWAPMAGIC folder at the same time. But, you need
to rename those programs to SMBOOT0.ELF, SMBOOT1.ELF, SMBOOT2.ELF and
SMBOOT3.ELF respectively.
2. Plug-in the USB Mass Storage Device to the USB port of the PS2, and then boot your PS2
with SwapMagic3.6.
3. When the title screen appears (you will see 2 options Load Program and Video Mode on
the screen), you can press:
A. "UP+L1" buttons to load SMBOOT0.ELF
B. "UP+L2" buttons to load SMBOOT1.ELF
C. "UP+R1" buttons to load SMBOOT2.ELF
D. "UP+R2" buttons to load SMBOOT3.ELF
i renamed mediaplayer and put it on to a usb pen just for disks
or put it into the swapmagic folder as it says above to play off my hardrive
