erm you wont get many takers for princos on here. as far as i know they all think they are crap

you can get games to work on crap media, and im telling you princos are that, but eventually your laser will not work anymore

so dont buy princos, buy verbatims etc, i know someone will post a list of decent media

sorry for saying that but they really are not good in the long run :)

i have been using ritek go4 and go5 and have never had a problem.
i had an early v3 ps2 wich wouldn,t boot anything due to a knackered laser.

glad they work for you, but differnt people
will find that different media is what works for them
i say stick with what 90% of the people say you
should use
TDK, Philips, Ritek G04, Verbatim

I use Philips 8X DVD-R all the time and they work
every time too
but that does not mean they will work for everyone.

It wouldn't hurt if you properly punctuated your post; reading one long run-on sentence is a headache. Maybe a title that actually described the topic of the thread, and contained less exclamation points? Stop me if this sounds crazy.

As for media, sure you can use Princos if you want. The general consensus for highest quality seems to be Verbatim Datalifeplus or Taiyo Yuden though, so if your backups die in half a year don't say you weren't warned. =p

Darwin 001 do your research before you start making such outrageous claims. There are lots on threads on this forum discussing good/bad media. Unfortunately, Princo seems to lie on the bad media side.
