ok i been having this problem. when i try 2 encode a movie on dvd shrienk is says that the time its gonna take 2 do so is a large number like 200 hours...whats up w/ that ???


how can i get it 2 run normal again

did you already rip the movie onto your hard drive with DVD Decrypter? Or are you using Shrink to read the disc (Open Disc mode)?

yes i have...but sometimes it doesnt work either like it comes up w/ alot of errors while its encoding in dvd decypter....



so how can i fix my DVD Shrink 2 start encoding movies normally again instead of a million hours that is says

I would check that your drive is set to dma not pio. ridht click my computer select manage,select device manager and secondary IDE controller select your drive and make sure it is set to DMA.

Yes it is a DMA..but still runs SUPER SLOW when its encoding

any other ideas????

try uninstalling your drive, restart your pc and reinstall your drive.

im trying 2 encode the movies w/ DVD Shrink so then i can burn them w/ dvd decypter or nero

You should "ALLWAYS" Rip the DVD to your Hard Drive First before useing DVD-Shrink because DVD Shrink doesn"t support all Copy Protections and useing the Read from Disk Method that DVD Shrink uses takes Much Longer than Normal and it isn"t very Good For your DVD Drive .....
