What programs, what media, what is the make and model of your burner and it's current firmware. You are not providing enough information for someone to help, need more :)

1 Click DVD Copy (DVD 4FREE), Tosheba DVD-R burner, XP on D Drive, to copy movies. I could not send the Stored movie on the C drive because their wasen't enough room. The movie is stored on the D Drive. However I can't write it on a blank DVD-R blank disk.

The latest firmware for your burner is IM34

http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?category=14&manufactor=31

Firmware is what aids your burner in recognizing newer media (blank disks) and burning speeds.

DVD InfoPro gives you the info on your burner and media. What brand of blank disks are you using i.e. Verbatim, Maxell, Sony?

Yes I have a Sony Laptop with a C and D hard drive. Both have approximately 22. Gig. The D hard drive is used for the system restore so I have 3.5 unused space in C Drive and 20. Gig on D. I think they are partitioned.

Go back into DVD InfoPro and see what it says for your drive. It should show your drive and after the R6012 there should be a number or somewhere on the info it should say your firmware version. We need to know what your current is now in order to find the appropriate firmware for your burner.

You are three firmware updates behind the current for your burner is IS34. Go to this site and you will see your burner with the versions IS32 to 1S34 download the current version and flash your drive, this will help it identify new media. However, flashing a drive can be risky, only you can decide if it what you want to do, but if you do not you will probably continue on with problems. If you do not want to flash you can always experiment with different media brands until you find one that your drive will accept.
