Rima, Meritline, Supermediastore & America1 don't carry it at all. Reason I'm asking (even though I really like TY) is I just got an 8x all white top (with black printing)MMC -R disc with 3 Day Of Discovery programs on it from RBC Ministries that coded out as MMC in Plextools. Do they make unbranded DVD's available through an internet outlet somewhere?
really depends on what your definition of "unbranded" means...by unbranded do you mean absolutely NOTHING inscribed or written/stamped on the top surface? shiny silver?
i have some of these that are MCC coded, i think that is what you meant to say in your title...MCC, not MMC?
these are the 8x DVD-R too~ Verbatims, UNBRANDED...but are genuine datalifeplus. no, they are not printable ones, but are UNBRANDED if your definition of "unbranded" is the same as mine... :)
i think i understand what you mean, but, i might be totally off what you are looking for...
Taiyo Yuden 4x dvd-r TYGO1/ 8x dvd-r TYGO2/ 8x dvd+r YUDEN000T02/ 16x dvd+r YUDEN000T03
Verbatim 8x dvd+r MCC003
Verbatim dvd+r DL (MKM001)= flawless no compression backups

Yes.
"shiny silver?"
Thats ok but inkjet printable silver/matte is preferred.

Yes MCC is what I meant.

Verbs are great is they are TY or MCC. Anything else & I'm burning them at 4x! I've had great success with both TY (unbranded) & Maxell (MCC) yellowtops. Ritek seems to be ok too. Yes it's cheaper than the others but so far I've burned 25 of them (out of a 100 pack) at rated speed (8x) with no coasters as either data discs or DVD's made from SVCD quality (old TV shows) video files. No skips, freezing or any other problems...
