You know the one at backuptools.co.uk-it says its ran into a problem and has to close when I extract GT4.VOL and makes it most of the way
through then shuts down. This stinks! The hardest game to backup
yet, huh?...........

yep, that is just one of the flaws of using the swap magic
method. DVD9 games have to be worked over to get right.
Do a search and you may find another method for doing it here.

That's why it's better to get a modchip (DMS4/Matrix Infinity). No rebuild needed, not even for DVD9 games like GT4. Anyway, there's plenty of tutorials for rebuiling this game check out the afterdawn forums or try a google search. Maybe you should try rebuilding the game again (painful but probably necessary)

i have used tools and instraction provided here http://www.backuptools.co.uk/ look in the tutorial section and download guide it comes with all needed tools

P.S.

you will need PSS Plex wich can be found also in the same site but in general tools
