Hi guys have recently completed God of War WOW!!! what a game but anyway when you defeat Ares you receive Athena's blades. How the hell do you get to use them. When i start a new game you dont have them what is the point of getting them if you cant use them. Please post back guys this is doing my head in.

I recently completed GOW on god mode and it took FOREVER! About the blades...i wish i knew how to use them too! They looked all powerful being gold and shiny(awwwww)

I think its just a prize dfor beating the game..i heard there are alternative endings, maybe thats wen you can use the blades.
