For some reason, Dvd decrypter doesn't seem to be recognizing any type of file that I've ripped. I've done IFO, ISO, and MDS, and every time I go to burn the file to a dvd it says there are no recognizable files in the folder that I've ripped the movie to. Any suggestions?
what type of files do you have in the folder? DVD Decrypter will only burn ISO files, which is an image file, just one big file all by itself (along with a little MDS file usually).
Also, did you use DVD Decrypter to rip the original movie?

yes, I used it to rip the original movie, but it doesn't seem to recognize any files are in there. I keep getting VOB files, no matter what type I try to rip.
Quote:i got dvd decypter to read the game but when i go to write it it says "device not ready (mediim not present)"
This belongs in one of the game forums I think, PS2 or XBOX.
@katia04: You are in File mode in Decrypter. Rip the original again, this time click Mode, then ISO Read. After that, click Mode, ISO Write and you should be able to burn it. Unless you need to compress it, then that's another story.

there should be sound. Did you use any other programs on the movie like DVD Shrink?
Did you try to go into the discs menu and see what options are available for sound there? Sometimes I've burned movies where the wrong audio track is selected by default, after I changed it through the menu everything was good.
