i am new and have a couple other threads going tryng to work out how to burn avi files to dvd so i can watch on my stand alone players
my problems are these.
1 most of the avi files are in NTSC so i need to convert to PAL not a problem as such but when i tried and using cucusoft converter the sound was out of sync ....after some reading i used virtual dub and found the audio was vbr and learned that after converting to dvd the audio will always be out of sync so using virtual dub and a tut i found i saved the the audio from 41000hz to 48000hz but now what do i have to do.
do i need to save the video file as a seperate file also and change its frame rate to 25.00fps so its PAL.
i have looked at tuts and some say do one thing others say do another i dont know whats the right advice and as it takes 8+ hours to convert i dont bout any mistakes untill its finished.
can someone please help as this is turning out to be way harder then i thought i am used to making vcds and they are so easy compared to this.

hi

listen mate you wanted help yeah, and please trust me all 3 apps do the lot the latter 2 are like pro apps and free! the second 2 can use CCE £2000 worth of encoder! they use pro audio apps to change audio and you can set pal too and aspect ratio! like 16:9 or 4:3

try them you will be suprised! divxtodvd you need to pay for but is faster at encoding than the other 2

no need for loads of apps - its very easy indeed!!!

latter 2 even compress if needed and make your iso to burn

easy as pie.......

Nothing here to see, move along folks.
