I've finally been able to back up splinter cell:pandora tomorrow, it works fine on sm3.6 with no patching/rebuilding required.
Couldn't get it to work on sm3.3 when I tried backing it up before.

This time all I did was copy the iso to the hard drive with dvd decrypter and then burn with nero.

I had the exact problem.... mabye on the older Swap Magics we had to use DVDLoader?!
