Not sure if this is the right subforum to be asking... but, I'm currently having some difficulties getting my avi files to dvd's to play on my Apex AD-800. I've used AVI2DVD and WINAVI and have received similar results. The discs play fine on my Sony standalone dvd player, but are not able to be read on the Apex. At first, I thought this was due to media type, but after making a backup from a commericial DVD I own, I was able to play my DVD+R on the Apex. Anyone have any suggestions to why this might be?

Furthermore, I've been following the guides for selectable subtitles using AVI2DVD, but I seem to have synchronization problems during playback when I have two part AVIs with seperate subtitle files. I've tried joining both AVIs and SRT files via VirtualDub and Subtitle Workshop, but the subtitles still seem to be playing farther ahead than it should be. If anyone has a guide or something that could help, please share. Thank you for your time.

-edit- BTW, I'm burning with a NEC-3540A DVD Burner.
