I am new to this burning world. I ripped my movie, then I tried to Menushrink it, but it come up and says: Can't access or create backup folder Menushrinkbackup. I looked in the f&q's and didn't find any thing. I hope I don't sound stupid asking this question.

What programs did you use, are you talking about DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink, or some other programs? You need to give more info on your problem.

yes I used both DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. My movie is to big to go on my dvd that I am trying to burn to so it told me to menu shrink before I could burn it, but it comes up with that can't access stuff I wrote in my thread. Like I said I am new to this.

After you rip with Decrypter just open Shrink and let the process go it will encode and compress your disk to fit. Here is a guide that will explain the process.

No, I didn't get my movies to burn. When I went to burn, it come up and said I didn't have enough space on my disc, do I still want to continue. I clicked yes, then it said: Failed to reserve track, reason: Illegal mode for the track. What the heck does that mean.

What kind of disks are your using, what brand? If you can rip your movie again using Decrypter and then just use Shrink to re-author, encode and burn with Decrypter. Otherwise you will need a program like isobuster to do a rescue of your files.

Just wanted to make sure you were using a good brand of DVD. You are using the correct format for your burner, i.e. it does accept both + and -R formats doesn't it?

Go into Decrypter and the tools tab, then drive, then capabilities and check the make and model of your drive and what media it works with. Make sure it will burn your +R media. I still think you need to rerip your movie and the use DVD Shrink again, it sounds like there is something wrong with your file.

If your burner is stating that it only is a +R burner that means it only will burn that format, not -R. As I stated go into Decrypter in the tools tab, the drive and then capabilities you will see what format disks your drive burns.

its say: it can read and write to both DVD+R and DVD-R. So I am going to start all over from the beginning and try it again. I hope I ain't getting on your nerves. If it works I will be VERY greatful.
