i just need a program that will let you make exact copies of pc games so that the computer and the game recognizes it as the disc. i'm trying to back up star wars knights of the old republic 1.

You can't backup original game, without "forbidden knowledge".

to find the protection of the game your gonna need a tool that helps to find this out, it's called Aray scanner.

next your gonna need another program to make the backup, I personally use Alcohol 120% to make all my backups but others use other various types to creat backups.
