I can't find where this was asked before, so I will post it again.
Does anyone know for 100% fact if I can make an exact 100% 1:1 quality copy of a DVD with DVDShrink (asuuming it fits on a DVD-5). I know I can compress the movie if it doesn't fit, but if I want to burn just the movie file, and it fits with NO compression with DVDShrink, will the quality of the movie be different in ANY way shape or form than the original DVD?
Yeah, I thought I read somewhere that even with no compression, DVDShrink altered the video in some way and it wasn't an exact copy of the original....perhaps just a rumour?
Although you probably won't notice it DVD Shrink even set at no compression processes (alters) the files. For a true 1:1 copy you're better off useing dvdd as stated by cowl.
