I just d/led this file and it's all not in .rar format. it is all e-kzone.001, e-kzone.002, e-kzone.003 and so on. there are 75*47.6mb and 1*15.9mb

i tried opening the first one with win rar and it showed .iso so i extracted and i burnt on dvd-r. i put into ps2 and it doesn't work???it loads then after a few seconds it goes to memory card screen then red screen. any1 know why?

Are you using the swapmagic disc? Or do you have a modchip?

Sometimes I get a little paranoid about downloaded games. Burn at the lowest speed and use a different type of media than the one you already used. If that doesn't help I would go rent/borrow it and copy it that way. You will spend $5 on a rental and you will get a copy that you know will work (assuming you know how to copy games that is).

im using modchip. i haven't tried burning at lowest speed nor different media cause i never had any problems with other games.

@ HipN: Don't be a wise ass, as long as he isn't asking for downloads or linking to downloads he isn't really breaking forum rules (as far as i can tell that is) and please stop shouting (all caps typing that is) it's considered rude behaviour, and forbidden on afterdawn

@ Guamon : Try looking around the forum (or use the search), i'm sure this has been answered before, although not specifically for killzone, but that shouldn't really matter.

Ok when you say "i didn't try different media because I've never had a problem before" that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try it now. I realize you may have been able to copy the games in the past the same way but understand that SOMETIMES it doesn't work. Believe me I went through the same thing. Try using different media and burning it at the slowest speed. And like I said....don't ask me to explain why it happens, it just does. At least that's what I found out.

My general advice would be not to download shit (makes backing up more risky adn mostly illegal) but just lend friends' copys of games, rent them, etc. etc. always worked for me
