I Need Some PS2 Newbie Help

Ok i got a PS2 Version 4 and all i want to do is to play Burned Games. I also dont want to open my PS2. Right now i am leaning forward to either a Flip Top or Slide Card. Which one can is the best choice? Also if i do get either a Flip top or slide card with the Magic Swap Disc will i be able to play games i burned or copied? New games like Madden 06 and stuff. Thanks

To install the flip top you will have to open you case. It replaces the current top of your ps2. Not sure about the games part myself.

I would go with the flip top.. Fairly easy to install.
As far as burning games you shouldn't have a problem as long as you use the correct tools to burn them (Alcohol 120% or Dvd Decrypter)... Some games may need patches or may need to be rebuilt. But most of the games out there you can just rip and burn with Decrypter on some good media and then you're good to go....

Yes definately get a flip top i started out with the slide card then upgraded to the flip top its so much easier.With the Backing Up games the best thing to use is definately DVD Decrypter or Alcohol 120%.

Yeah i am checking Clearxbox. Its 18 bucks but i dont see it coming with a swap disc. Does it come with a swap disc?
