Yeah it will still work. You need to get the disc ID utility and burn it to a CD-R and pop it your ps2 and then it will tell you to put in the disc you want the ID for and it will come up with the ID number on. Write that down and then use the image patcher and type in the numbers you wrote down and patch and burn it.

If you get the whole id from your game and use it's ok. But if ur renting a game get the id only use the last 6 digits of the id then make up your own first 4 digits using letters A-F, and any number 0-9. Anymore questions pm me.

Here are the id's- http://www.grafhical.com/dnas/ Here are the directions on how to patch in the dna$ to play the games online with swap magic- http://www.sksapps.com/index.php?page=dnas2.html
There are those 4 x's in the id because you can put in whatever you want there using letters A-F, and numbers 0-9 any combinations like letter letter, or number letter etc. Just follow the directions and you should have no problem. Forget the pm lol.

So example:

I had to bump it.
Disc ID = XX XX 06 30 64 / XX XX 0E 30 2C
So I have to make up the 4X's on both IDs or only one of them? If so which one?
