did you do the latest upgrade to Nero, if i remember correctly, the older version did'nt allow that, i may be wrong, not totally sure.
but i do use booktype anyway, my standalone amazes me everytime.

i wanted to add, i had bought an LGDVB418 dvd player @ b/b for $180, does it all, and now clearanced for $135..... just an FYI
I followed all the instruction until #5, but when i open the options, "Book type Setting" is not there! What does it mean?

What version is your Nero? Is it one of the latest (Nero 6 Ultra Edition 6.6.0.16)? If not, you should upgrade it and you'll be square away from there. I believe the last 6.6.0.14 & 6.6.0.15 can be book type the settings on DVD+R to DVD-ROM by doing the same steps as I've mentioned earlier as well.
