divx to dvd is a good converter, but if you have something other than copyto dvd like Nero try that.
Whats the media you are using to burn onto?

hi yeah I tried Nero but 2 of the films I tried were in 2 cds format and every time it said they were too big to go on one normal dvd disk 4.7GB so I put them on DivXtoDVD and it merged the 2 cds onto 1 dvd.and the other film I tried on Nero was only 4.1GB and it said that too was too big.I always use datawrite 8x4.7GB disks and never had a problem.its not the first time I have used DivXtoDVD but its the first time I have had a problem

thank god there's no more irrelevant halo 2 one liners, i even had a PM out of the blue about it. what's the world coming to..
..and YAY it was worth it to see the wavy hand..
...anyway.....
@al54 - if you're using divxtodvd you've already converted the films to dvd format so can just use standard Nero Burning Rom, you don't need to use Nerovision at that point..

hey creaky i find that if you have converted 2 700meg files then Nero recode is much better to use as the burning program as you can merge both of the files together

Have you ever changed the AEC settings in Recode, I know how to do it but just have not tried. Mainly because I have never used regedit, since comp always works fine.

Hi there,
If someone is using VSO DivXtoDVD v1.99.13, they can burn their videos directly from DivXtoDVD since it now has it's own burn engine.
Being a ßeta Tester for VSO DivXtoDVD v2.00 I yet had an issue with the burn engine.
So yes, they can use Nero, CopyToDVD and now DivXtoDVD v1.99.13 to burn their VIDEO_TS directory !

Hello .. I have a dvd home recorder .. I can copy movies from pay per view to dvd. I am just lost on how to copy a dvd, say i hook up a second dvd player it will not let me record because of the copy write laws. How can I get around it? I know it can be done but have no clue. If anyone can help it would be sweet.

Hi there,
You can record PayPerView, because you are recording the signal that is comming in !
Now to copy a DVD to DVD, there's all sorts of protection on them, so I'm almost sure you can't copy machine to machine.
This is why in here, we have all those protection remover like DVD Decrypter, DVD43, AnyDVD to remove all the protection.
Then we just copy them using our DVD Burners in our computers.

I have a Panasonic DVD Recorder and a regular DVD Player on my TV and copying protected DVD's cannot be done. There is firmware in the recorder that tells it the disk is copyrighted. Use a PC for your DVD copies, or copy it to VHS and then from VHS back to your recorder, but you will not get good quality.
